Public Relations

Hi everyone, sorry I have not reported anything to you up till now, I waited till I had some great news.

So here it isGreat News, I have finished a 30 second ad for promotional and awareness of Lions that will be shown on commercial television for the next 12 months.

I am only waiting on official Government licence now to release it to the stations.

Part of the Ad mentions that “to find the locality of the nearest Lions Club will be to notify their nearest Shire or Council office.”

Here is your challenge; I need each club to ensure that your Shire/Council office has your clubs details and a phone number. My phone number also appears on the Ad so I will field enquires and direct them to the relevant clubs.

A few tips and tactics to help awareness,

  • Check your road signs, are they in good repair? Is there a contact number visible?
  • Slip some back copies of West Lion into the local doctor’s waiting room with Phone number for contact. In fact put them anywhere there’s waiting going on.
  • Hang a Lions poster in your local Library, again with contact number.

West Arthur, Manjimup and Balingup have kindly sent me details of their P.R people could I have names from other clubs as soon as possible please, if a work shop is warranted I will need contacts for information.

If you need help with any media releases please call me.
