Lions Community Week,
Any club should not ignore the importance of Lions Community Week in April 2007

Nation wide publicity will become apparent when all clubs have participated.
There is a wide range of materials coming direct to your club from Multiple District PR, make sure that your secretary reads and explains the information, these include

  • Tips for promoting you activity, and media interview tips
  • Suggestions for planning a project.
  • How to get started.
  • Your clubs registration form.
There is also the opportunity to unite with other clubs in your area and make it a zone project.
Bridgetown, Balingup, Manjimup and Boyup Brook clubs combined last year to host and fund a Camp Quality camp during the week of this promotional oppotunity.
Lets get on with it, and take the advantage of this wide range of information arriving shortly at your club.

The State wide coverage from our own Lions advert still continues to encourage the public to ring for information. Some calls are a cry for help and there have been encouraging inquiries for how to become a member.
The Ad is being screened on four commercial networks and will do for at least 12 months.

I have available some posters, if you would like one or two for either Community Week or to hang in libraries/ Shire/ Council offices please give me a call 9765 1965, or email kelor@westnet.com.au.
Cheers Lorri,
I am looking forward to seeing your clubs media coverage during Lions Community Week.
